Calling Obama ISIS founder was sarcasm
Trump used the unfounded description of Clinton and Obama on Wednesday night and all day on Thursday during campaign appearances in Florida, including in an interview on Thursday with radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt. Just 29 percent of New Hampshire women polled say they support Trump, while 51 percent support Clinton. He took offence that his comments were interpreted as praise for Saddam.
Furthermore, On Friday morning, Trump targeted media personalities who were working hard and serious to try and figure out his personality.
Trump said some version of his new attack line almost 20 times in two days.
He simply blamed the media for taking him so “seriously”.
Captured or not, all our soldiers are heroes!
DT: I don’t care.
New questions are raised about Trump’s ability to communicate clearly to the public. “Oh boy, is ISIS hoping for her”, he told the NAHB crowd in Miami.
On Monday, 50 prominent Republican national security officials, including a former Central Intelligence Agency director, called Trump unqualified to lead the country and said he would be “the most reckless president in American history”.
Ahead of the New Hampshire primary in February, Trump had been discussing Cruz’s remarks about waterboarding during the ABC News debate days earlier. “A lot of people think maybe he doesn’t want to know about it”. That’s what I would say.
After that, a woman shouted a crude word.
“Because without him you wouldn’t have the threat, the frightful situation going on around the world with ISIS”, Trump told Fox News a day earlier. You don’t get any argument from me. Trump’s proposed temporary ban on foreign Muslims entering the United States earned him a jump in the polls.
“She said he’s a [*****] that’s bad”, he said, before throwing his hands up. I don’t know if you heard that.
He later said it was a joke. “Obviously I’m being sarcastic”. He also said that if he doesn’t become the next commander-in-chief he’ll go back to a “very good way of life”.
Taken in a sarcastic light, Trump’s words would be amount to a mockery of… I think it was a decision.
The poll found Clinton widening her lead in Colorado, Virginia and North Carolina, while holding her advantage over Trump in Florida. “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks”. “He made a deal with the devil. Happens so much. It happens so much”, he said.
“We’re having a problem”, Trump told the ministers, adding that the next president could get to nominate up to five high-court justices. “It is parsed for the slightest change in meaning or motivation”, Medhurst said.
Rothkopf said criticism of Obama’s foreign policy is entirely fair game this presidential campaign season.
He said later on Thursday that he meant exactly what he said: “I meant that Obama founded ISIS, literally”.
Yet on Thursday, Trump was reduced to citing a poll that actually showed him a few points behind Clinton and arguing the race between them was close.
“And I mean, if it is true, that’s OK too because all I have to do is stop funding the Republican Party”.
“I meant exactly that”.
But in a tweet on Friday, he called the comments sarcasm. And here’s video of Trump saying the comments, if you would like to examine his sarcastic tone.
