Forbes said: ‘Love life aside, Harris has had a pretty good year at the office and is once again the world’s highest-paid electronic dance music artist.
The Dumfries-born DJ and producer earned £41.8million, the same as the previous year, according to Forbes magazine. “He also has seven-figure endorsements with the likes of Georgio Armani, which made Harris its newest face for its men’s underwear line”, Forbes wrote in its profile of Harris. “Harris, 31, additionally won the heart of lady mate, pal Taylor Swift & Forbes magazine described them as ‘probably the most powerful music power twosome this side of Jay Z & Beyonce”.
Although David Guetta’s sitting in second place, he’s got quite a way to go if he’s going to pip Calvin next year, with earnings of $37m, while Tiësto’s trailing closely with $36m.
Recently he hit headlines after a public Twitter feud with former One Direction member, Zayn Malik.
