Calvin Harris’ New Music Video Low-Key Disses Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston
Rumors that the song is about Taylor Swift started flying nearly immediately upon release due to a few eyebrow-raising lines, like when Newman sings, “But I see online that you’ve begun to be/ A good girl and take trips with your boyfriend”.
Marking the beginning of an all new era for Newman, the artist has been busy in the studio writing and recording material following the release of his 2015 LP “Revolve”, the follow-up to platinum-selling number one debut album “Tribute”.
With that said, there’s not a single blonde to be seen in a sea of brunettes… so at least that’s something!
John Newman has unveiled his new music video for catchy track Ole in collaboration with Calvin Harris, two days after revealing his brain tumour has returned.
“Low key” is believed to be a jab at Hiddleston’s well-known Thor character, Loki.
“You’ve hidden my name on your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell”. Some of it talks about the British’s messy breakup with Rita Ora in 2014 in which it was rumored that they broke up because the X-Factor judge did not tell her then-beau that she is in the same city where he was and she booked a hotel without him.
Is the video ACTUALLY about Taylor Swift?
“People shouldn’t worry about me, the prognosis is good and there are so many people in far more serious situations”. The news came weeks after the Style singer was seen partying with Tom Hiddleston on May 4.
The pair did not address the gossip online, but on Saturday (06Aug16), 23-year-old Tinashe tried to play down the claims as she was interviewed ahead of her performance at Intrigue nightclub in Las Vegas, where DJ Calvin is also a regular.
