Cam Newton Rips Down Packers Sign at Sunday’s Game
If an National Football League fan brings a very big sign supporting their team to a visiting stadium, they’re obnoxious and deserve to have it snatched away.
He said Newton ran over before the game, tore it down and took it with him to the locker room.
Meanwhile, Newton was unapologetic about cleaning up his field.
“That don’t match. I feel it’s my due diligence to protect this house”, he told the Gaston Gazette. “I just want my sign back”.
The team has reached out to the Green Bay fan, Mike Dobs, of Fayetteville, with an offer to replace the $500 banner that Newton grabbed during pregame events Sunday.
This was Dobs first time in Charlotte. But instead he ripped it out of our hands and nearly took my son-in-law’s finger with it.
Julius Peppers does not care about the children, but Cam Newton will not abandon them.
“When Cam did not return with my banner, I contacted the stadium police”.
“I was just shocked, shocked”, Dobs told the Fayetteville Observer.
“I was shocked”, said Dobs. “As a professional that gets paid to play a game?”
“Scott Paul was the only person who took us seriously and the banner is ideal”, Dobs said. “Either somebody was going to have to take it off or I’d take it off. And it’s no disrespect to nobody, it’s more of a respect to the stadium”. “It’s more of a respect to the stadium”. We all know gangs.
The Panthers beat the Packers 37-29.
Carolina QB Cam Newton has helped the Panthers to an 8-0 record. Colin was at the Carolina-Green Bay game with his grandfathers, the station reports. Back-to-back losses haven;t been dealt to the Green Bay Packers under Aaron Rodgers since 2010. “I just need to play football, do my thing and it will work itself out”, he added.
Coach Ron Rivera said the Panthers can’t put themselves in that position.
Newton, Carolina’s fifth-year quarterback, mentioned the laptop incident at Florida in the context of his hope that his perseverance can serve as inspiration to others.
The website also answered several questions about the policy review.
The policy is being reviewed to ensure it is clear and serves the best best interest of the organization. Those rules include not affixing banners or flags for opposing teams to any stadium surface.
Colin got high-fives and selfie requests from the fans around him.
Before the start of yesterday’s game, Newton spotted a banner hanging over the railing.
