Cam Newton Says LeBron James Is a Better Player Than Stephen Curry
No. 23 doesn’t do all game, every game like he did when he entered the National Basketball Association as the No. 1 overall pick out of Akron, Ohio’s St. Vincent-St. He attended high school and college in North Carolina. Curry, the two-time reigning MVP, and James, the four-time MVP, are arguably the greatest players in the game, and watching this one-on-one NBA Finals moment, even if it does not count, is attractive.
During the 2015 NBA Finals, a good deal of attention was given to that both Stephen Curry and LeBron James were born in the same hospital in Akron, Ohio just 39 months apart. He’s 6-7, athletic, can do anything on the court. Going back to what I was saying, the power of team will always be better than the power of skill, said Cam Newton.
“A person asked me, ‘Well, is Steph Curry the best basketball player on the planet?'” Newton said, according to the ESPN.
But a case can be made that James is a better all-around player.
Curry has also become a friend of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, congratulating him on his MVP award and proudly wearing his jersey at a Golden State practice during the National Football League playoffs.
Cam Newton is picking LeBron over Steph for best in the National Basketball Association. Will Newton’s analysis inspire him to level the series in Game 4? Can LeBron James guide the Cavs to turn the odds in their favor?
