Cam Newton wants black QB issue put away for good

Not only did Cam Newton sign her son’s jersey, but he also gave her a new Super Bowl 50 jersey.

Newton, the irrepressible, buoyant spirit of the upstart Panthers, rocked a pair of zebra-print pants and a black leather hoodie as he disembarked the team plane that landed about an hour after Denver’s. But anything can happen, especially in the Super Bowl. But they all answered questions, joked, danced, and celebrated with almost 5,500 reporters from all over the United States and around the world.

Newton reminded Oher of his text recently. The Broncos quarterback doesn’t have the same arm he once did – he admitted it hasn’t been the same since his neck injury a few years ago – and to this, everybody nods their heads already having seen it on the field.

And I understand there’s people out there, but what I said is true – this could be it and I’m aware it could be it. I wanted to tell both of them. Manning spends hours studying film, studying the game plan and sharpening the mental side of his game.

“Because when I go places and I talk to kids and I talk to parents and I talk to athletes all over, they look at my story and they see a person – African-American or not – they see something that they can relate to. He is one of the best ever”, said Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly. “If this is his last game, hopefully we can send him out the right way”.

Manning could match Elway’s ring total with a win Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. “He is on the other side – doesn’t matter”, said offensive guard Chris Scott.

Almost 7,000 football fanatics were in attendance at the SAP Center. “Super tough player to take down”, said Miller.
