Camp Triggerfish added to Splatoon’s stage rotation
Nintendo are adding a fourth free map to its Wii U exclusive third person shooter Splatoon, this time in the form of Camp Triggerfish.
The Splatoon multiplayer map rotation will be updated tomorrow at 7:00pm PT. Camp Triggerfish, to be exact.
Don’t let us be your little secret: SHARE! Battles here play out across a series of bridges, which you’ll have to cross to reach your opponents’ turf.
In Camp Triggerfish, if the floodgates protecting bases are down, it is easier for players to enter and exit bases as they please. In ranked modes, the gates will be open from the get-go, but in Turf War they won’t open until there’s only a minute left on the clock. In this mode, teams win by covering more of the map with their own color. Watch out in Tower Control! The game was launched in North America on May 29, and it has been picking up in popularity since then. The stage has an excessive amount of deadly, deadly water (Sea creatures can not swim through water in Splatoon) that players will have to avoid as they navigate the stage with their limited movement.
