“I played better on the back nine, which is harder, and the greens were drying out”, Grillo said. “I’d like to tune-up the iron shots, but overall I’m hitting it good”.
Meanwhile, Bubba Watson, the highest-ranked player in the field, showed why that is so with an opening 31 on his first nine holes, before giving a couple back to finish at 4-under.

Campbell’s nine birdies helped him to 14 under at the PGA Tour event, and two shots ahead of countryman Brian Harman (67).
