Can the Denver Broncos take down the undefeated New England Patriots?

Backup quarterback, now starter, Osweiler made good use of his tight end tandem of Vernon Davis and Owen Daniels, leading the Broncos to a hard fought victory in Chicago last Sunday.

One thing that the Bills did an excellent job of against the Patriots was confusing the protection up front. So should having six days to game plan for the possibility that he’s limited, or that he joins Julian Edelman and Dion Lewis among the weaponry on the sideline. And in this game, they will do just that. Can they seize it? While DeMarcus Ware won’t play, we know that Von Miller is a beast who can get to Brady (he has four career sacks in five games against New England). Either will leave the Patriots in a better position than they were in with the game in the balance against Buffalo. The Broncos didn’t need to see the oversized tight end tally another victory against Denver.

The New England Patriots are taking on the Denver Broncos this Sunday in Week 12 of the National Football League season on November 29, 2015, at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado.

Osweiler is the kind of quarterback the Patriots typically handle easily. No heroics will be needed by the offense if Wade Phillips took good notes on Monday night. They blitzed effectively but were also able to get pressure on Brady with less than five rushers because of how well they disguised what they were going to do.

With Branch, first-round draft pick Malcom Brown, and a core group of linebackers that includes Dont’a Hightower, Jamie Collins, Jonathan Freeny, and Jerod Mayo, the Patriots have been one of the best teams in the league at stopping the run.

The success they’ve had on defense isn’t unexpected, at least to the players. The team is averaging only 22.2 points per game, which ranks 19th in the NFL. When asked how you stop Gronk, he didn’t hedge. Not to mention the Broncos have arguably the best secondary in the entire NFL. This week, the Patriots face a Broncos team that leads the league in sacks with 34 and pressure opposing quarterbacks nearly 40 percent of the time.

“I just learned from an early age just not to go out there calling for it. I think my play and when everybody turns on the film, that’s where you get the respect from”, he said.
