Canucks F Sutter out 4-6 weeks
Nichushkin showed his strength when he bulled in on a breakaway and slipped a slick backhand past Vancouver goalie Ryan Miller in the first period to tie the game1-1. After a ideal outlet pass from Alex Goligoski, Sharp used his speed and positioning to walk around two Canucks defenders into the slot for the go-ahead goal late in the third.
Sutter, who was the 11th pick in the 2007 NHL Draft, has four goals and eight points in 16 games this season.
This was the third time the two teams squared off this season and the first time that the game ended in regulation.
