Captain America: Civil War Concept Art Shows the Divide in the MCU
With Joe Russo and Anthony Russo’s “Captain America: Civil War” hitting the big screen next year, it has been reported that Iron Man will don an armor raised into a whole new level.
Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity.
If you don’t want to be spoiled as to which Avengers will be joining Captain America and Iron Man, turn back now…
A video clip from the YouTube web channel Mr. Sunday Movies on August. 27 not only claims to have exclusive Civil War promo art, but art that confirms everyone else’s allliances. It looks like the official concept art reveals a different set of Avengers on each side of the battle. It seems that Iron Man will be going up against Cap and his old World War 2 buddy, Bucky Barnes who fans know as the Winter Soldier. It’s also our first look at the movie version of Redwing, Falcon’s bird sidekick from the comics who has been adapted to a drone for the film.
After Renner let it slip that he’d be on Cap’s side and the D23 trailer revealed Ant-Man’s placement, this all seems pretty consistent – except for Black Panther.
We have lots of questions, but the new Marvel movie sure generates lots of excitement for the fans!
