Captain America: Civil War’s Honest Trailer compares it to Batman v Superman
The trailer throws its punches hard as it begins with a subtle diss to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This week marks the home release of Captain America: Civil War on Blu-ray and DVD.
There is some precedent for inter-studio cooperation, however, as the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming is a co-production between Marvel and Sony. Not to mention the threat of Thanos perpetually looming. Fox now holds the rights to Deadpool, along with the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters, while Disney-owned Marvel Studios is home to Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and company.
You know, now that I think about it, this video is right.
Not coincidentally, the release of the video coincides with the film’s debut on Blu-ray.
“We do consider everyone”, said Anthony Russo. Even the characters introduced in the various Marvel series might have a small chance to set in The Avengers 3: Infinity War, which will constitute in itself a new beginning.
