Carlo Ancelotti Believes Cristiano Ronaldo Will Retire at Real Madrid
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo “isn’t well in the head”, according to his former teammate Deco, who also tried to explain the difference between the Portugal captain and Lionel Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo is already a sports icon, entrepreneur and successful model, and now the 30-year-old can add yet another accolade to his ever-growing empire.
The proud father was later pictured kissing his trophy before handing it to his son to hold. “I think he will end his career at Real Madrid where everybody loves him“.
Speaking in a BBC documentary about England’s record goalscorer, Ronaldo said: “He’s a fantastic boy and he helped me a lot when he came to join us in Manchester”.
Ronaldo now has 323 goals for Real Madrid and is expected to surpass Raul soon after the current global break. His job is the end product, the goal.
Ancelotti spoke on on Angel Di Maria, another player he coached at Madrid alongside Ronaldo, in the interview. Indeed, most Madridistas would say Raul is a much more iconic forward than the current incumbent of the revered No. 7 jersey.
United were linked with a sensational swoop to bring their former star man back to Old Trafford all summer.
Ronaldo could be inspired by the prospect of new challenges.
The Italian however turned down the offer, insisting he felt he needed a rest after his two years at the Santiago Bernabeu. Even with all the money in the world, that quality is one that is enormously challenging to replace.
