Carlos Santana is Alive and Well Despite Internet Rumors of His Death

Carlos Santana has been the latest celebrity to fall victim to an internet hoax.

It’s unclear when the hoax started circulating. “Carlos is alive and well and enjoying his morning!”

Santana (or at least someone on his team) apparently also heard the rumors and took to Twitter and Facebook to reassure fans.

Social media briefly lit up on Wednesday with word that the legendary rock guitarist had died.

Chris Walker, a Canadian journalist for the morning radio show CBC Kelowna mistakenly tweeted out the information of Santana’s death, according to CBS News. The tweets have since been deleted, but he did post an apology. “Thank you all for your concern, but the reports of his passing are false”, the statement read.
