Carly Fiorina sings about her dog Snickers, wins America’s vote
Last night on “The Tonight Show”, Fiorina showed a bit of her lighter side, breaking into a song about her dogs that cracked up Jimmy Fallon.
“I led Hewlett-Packard through a very hard time“, she said, “the worst technology recession in 25 years“. She talked about rising from a secretary to the CEO of Hewlett-Packard, where her tenure has been criticized.
GOP leaders tripped over one another at the Ronald Regan Presidential Library last week, each one trying to stand out as the best choice for the next president of the U.S.
Fiorina will be at The Citadel at the invitation of Americans for Peace, Prosperity and Security, which is providing forums for all the candidates to discuss their positions on national defense and other global issues.
“It says in our Constitution that religion can not be a test for office”, she said.
“I battled cancer, I’ve lost a child”.
Jenkins, a certified public accountant, pointed to Fiorina’s business experience in her statement of support that was released to The Topeka Capital-Journal.
Asked about the prospect that Trump would meet with Putin when Putin is in New York for the United Nations Summit, Fiorina said, “the two of them have a lot in common”, before adding, “we’ll just leave it at that”.
“Know this, I meant exactly what I said“, Carson wrote in the Facebook post.
This time, the presidential candidate took a dig at her opponent, Ben Carson, and totally shot down his opinion that a Muslim shouldn’t be president of our country.
On Russian President Vladimir Putin, Fiorina recounted her meeting with the “barrel chested” and “proud of it” Russian leader, calling him “a formidable adversary” who is “confident, he can be quite amusing and charming, but he’s a KGB guy, ya know, we should never forget this”. That is the consensus of most observers and she has experienced a corresponding rise in the polls. “I don’t think we need those Wall Street values right now”.
And the only criticism media is coming up with against Fiorina is that she needs to smile more (CNN’s Michael Smerconish Complains Carly Fiorina Didn’t Smile Enough in GOP Debate), which is even more insulting to her and other women than Donald Trump’s “look at that face” comment in Rolling Stone magazine. Conservatives have very quickly stripped off her “good veep choice” label, giving her consideration for the top spot. “Five trillion dollars of trade goes through the South China Sea every year, and China wants to be the choke point”, she said.
She also said the US would seek “retribution and consequences” for China’s intellectual property theft from USA firms. “I think it’s the same thing as attacking me for my record as speaker”, he said.
The audience clapped along, and laughed, and Fallon put his hand on Fiorina’s shoulder.
