Carmageddon: Max Damage announced for PS4 and Xbox One
Carmageddon developer, Stainless Games, has announced that Carmageddon Max Damage will be releasing on PS4, and Xbox One.
A controversial release in its day, the original Carmageddon was banned or censored in multiple countries due to its graphically violent gameplay.
Confirmed game modes include a Career mode, a Multiplayer mode and a Freeplay mode, which presumably involves driving around freely, running over pedestrians of every shape and colour, including such exotic tastes as aliens, bears and penguins. Carpocalypse Now, was released in 1998 and a third game, Carmageddon: Total Destruction Racing 2000, was released in 2000.
Fully featured action replay mode; to relive all the action again from any perspective.

Carmageddon: Max Damage is expected to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2016. But the series has been missing from Sony and Microsoft’s consoles, and Stainless Games is looking to rectify that.
“Carmageddon: Max Damage features more cars than ever, more environments than ever, and most importantly more pedestrians than ever”, publishing director at Stainless Games, Jason Garber said in a post on the PlayStation Blog.
