Carolina Panthers vs. Dallas Cowboys

And they can create takeaways, as they entered the week leading the league in turnovers created and points off turnovers. One again they came close on a punt that bounced off the leg of a Panther, but he realized what had happened and pounced quickly on the ball.

On the second play of Dallas’ possession after Newton’s score, Romo was hit by a blitzing Thomas Davis and went down on his left shoulder, just as he did nearly 10 weeks ago in Philadelphia. Although he engineered a nice drive late, it was the definition of garbage time. Even a blocked field goal after the two minute warning was just meaningless. The Panthers will watch the rest of the weekend still knowing they are the only unbeaten team in the conference.

And with Romo re-injuring his clavicle, so is the season.
