Carrie Coon Cast in Avengers: Infinity War as Villain
Fans will find out very soon: “Avengers: Infinity War” opens on April 27.
When the Russos say “we don’t want the ending spoiled”, they mean it. Elizabeth Olsen reveals the cast were even given “fake endings” to make sure no one, least of all Tom Holland, could spill the beans. She recently appeared in Steven Spielberg’s “The Post” and Jody Hill’s comedy “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter”, opposite Josh Brolin (who voices Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War”).
For now, we’ll just have to sit back and enjoy every bit of Downey Jr we can get in the role. But last week we learned that the event movie to end all event movies is actually selling more tickets than the last seven Marvel films combined.
Notably, Avengers: Infinity War isn’t the only Marvel film that has faced censorship issues. As the title suggests, the movie will revolve around the highly coveted Infinity Stones. The members of the Black Order have already been glimpsed throughout the film’s marketing, though the Russo Brothers have been hesitant to reveal much more about them beyond what the trailers establish (in short, they’re not kind). “We were like a big happy family”, he adds.
“So we do know what happens as much as they have given us. unless they’re lying to us, and planting unusual seeds”.
In an interview with Andy McCarroll (that we heard about at io9), the directors were jokingly asked if there is any possibility the film would include a reference to the beloved TV series of which they also directed several episodes.
In other words, we probably won’t ever get to see these deleted minutes.
There has been a history of Disney films being cut or censored in certain countries. You offer the audience combinations of superheroes, then you put them in neat themes and ensure they all keep with the formula – a amusing superhero, an intense one and one who can do both. “I’ve been calling it Avengers 4”, which puts her on the same level as every Marvel fan on the planet.
If you crave longer post-credits scenes in your Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, you nearly got your wish with Black Panther.
In a few short days, a story that started 10 years ago will see its biggest upheaval yet.
