Carrie Fisher took a keepsake from the set of ‘The Force Awakens’
It was another cracking couch on Graham Norton last night, as the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Kylie Minogue and *gasps* David Beckham headlined the last show before Christmas.
Best of all, Boyega took on Beckham in a lightsaber duel in the middle of the studio, and also spoke about the time he took Harrison Ford to Peckham.
David accepted the dare and the audience cheered as the two men duked it out in front of other fellow guests, including John’s Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens co-stars Carrie Fisher and Daisy Ridley. Ridley states that she had to wait three months just to tell anyone about her involvement in the film, while Boyega jokingly admits to telling the taxi driver about his casting as soon as it happened. “I thought you were an extra, ‘” Boyega told Fallon. They touch lightsabers once, and Boyega backs down, reaching out a hand and saying, “I just wanted to meet you, mate!”
David said, “I was really embarrassed and surprised, especially when Brooklyn said, ‘Really?'”
“Even though he doesn’t think I’m a cool dad, I still find him wearing my clothes every day!” the soccer legend told Graham Norton.
