Carson says he will pray for Trump after comments
Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has unleashed a stunning verbal assault on his nearest competitor Ben Carson, saying that USA voters were “stupid” to believe the doctor’s moving personal narrative and comparing him to a paedophile.
The Donald wasn’t done yet, though – far from it. At his rally Thursday night in Iowa, during an epic 90-plus-minute stump speech, Trump upped the ante on grotesque sexual imagery, when he hinted at a literal castration of bad people like Carson.
Offering a window into how the Democratic establishment is sizing up the competition, most superdelegates declined to name a candidate, expressing bewilderment at a Republican field in which billionaire Trump and retired neurosurgeon Carson are leading in polls while Jeb Bush, the son and brother of presidents, struggles.
Stephen invites Adam and Jamie from Mythbusters to come on the show and once and for all answer the question if Carson’s knife could or could not have broken by hitting the belt buckle of his friend who he tried to stab at the age of 14.
But Trump seized on Carson’s own words in his autobiography that such episodes were brought on by a “pathological temper”.
US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Carson today said he would not engage in the “politics of personal destruction” by directly responding to Trump.
“I’m hopeful that at a few point we reach a level of maturity that we can actually deal with the issues that are facing us right now and stop getting into the mud and doing thing that really don’t matter”.
What’s less talked about is that if Trump does decide he is mad as hell and not going to take it anymore, the collapse that follows might have as much – if not more – impact on the 2016 Republican race than his rise to the top of the polls did. The store is the Gucci flagship, in Trump Tower-“Fifth Avenue real estate, it’s fantastic”, Trump said.
In the last Republican presidential debate, Bush criticized Trump’s call for mass deportations of immigrants living in the country illegally, calling it an impractical plan that would benefit Democrats with Hispanic voters.
News accounts of his appearance at a rally in Fort Dodge, Iowa, described a 95-minute tirade during which Trump appeared to unravel. Trump asked while speaking at the Iowa Central Community College. He acted out the scene of Carson trying to stab his friend, lurching forward and shouting, “but, low and behold, it hit the belt!”
Fiorina fired back at Trump on Thursday after his comments on Carson. “If he was playing poker with me, I’d say ‘Ah!’ The water would start pouring off his body”. You don’t cure a child molester.
During an interview with CNN, he repeated his accusation that Carson had a “pathological” temper, quoting directly from Carson’s book, adding that it equates to the sickness of a child molester.
Trump was slammed widely by other GOP rivals for the Carson attacks, with the candidate himself only saying – through his business manager, Armstrong Williams – that people should “pray for him”.
But if you listen closely, you’ll hear Carson say something else: Ask God, believe it and He will deliver you.
“He said he has pathological disease”, he said. He also railed against the people of Iowa as naive and gullible for believing Carson’s stories.
“Give me a break. Give me a break”, Trump summarized inaccurately.
“It does not denote ‘incurable.’ That’s not the same”, Carson said.
