Carson ties Trump, leads Clinton in latest Quinnipiac poll
If it’s Clinton versus Jeb Bush, Clinton would have 47 percent versus Bush’s 43 percent.
In a telling sign of how topsy-turvy the Republican race still is, a full 63 per cent of respondents said they might change their mind. If Hillary Clinton hopes to win the White House, she’ll need to get similar numbers to Obama among black voters. Jeb Bush is fifth with five-percent. He has a net favorable of -1 among black adults, who largely vote Democrat, but about half of black adults are not familiar with him.
Donald Trump has regained his lead over Ben Carson in Iowa, after a shaky week that saw Carson eclipse Trump.
“With the election one year away, Ben Carson has surgically cut away all but one GOP opponent and taken a scalpel to Hillary Clinton’s lead”, he added.
A year before the 2016 presidential election, there is a tie among the front-runners of the Republican Party.
The worst news for Clinton comes in a head-to-head with Carson, where she trails 50% to 40%.
Clinton does come out on top however in a hypothetical matchup against Donald Trump.
The Times reported that Carson’s position in the NBC/WSJ poll on Monday was “the highest any Republican candidate has reached in that survey”. Ted Cruz 46 to 43 percent; and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie 46 to 41 percent.

A group of other Republican candidates are compiling a list of demands for future debates, though Trump said he would negotiate directly with the networks. Carson placed second with 18 percent.
But voters say 50 – 38 percent that Carson does not have the right kind of experience to be president.
