Unmindful of the Speaker’s repeated appeals, the YSRCP members stormed the podium alleging irregularities in Pattiseema project.
Speaker K Siva Prasad adjourned the Assembly sine die on the last day of the five-day Monsoon Session after the YSRC members trooped into well of the House and raised slogans against Naidu.
Even as the speaker was explaining that the adjournment motion was disallowed as a proper notice on the subject was not given, Atchannaidu stood up and suggested that the YSRCP rename itself as “psycho party”. They alleged that YSRCP and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) had colluded to implicate TDP leaders in false case.
Amid pandemonium, the speaker adjourned the house for 10 minutes.
Leader of the Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today launched a broadside against Chandrababu Naidu terming him as a ‘rowdy chief minister and his ministerial colleagues as rowdy ministers. When the house re-assembled, he allowed Jaganmohan Reddy to speak. Once the FSL submits the report to the Court, Telangana ACB, based on the findings may get a nod to question Chandrababu who so far denied that the voice on the tapes are his.
“This is for the first time that a chief minister was caught red-handed buying votes”. Referring to this allegation, Jagan said that he is ready to resign, if the allegations on me are proved to be true.
“Naidu’s name was mentioned 22 times in the charge sheet (related to the alleged scandal)”, Reddy said.
The opposition members again rushed to the speaker’s podium, leading to another adjournment.
