Cat Cora: Divorcing Wife … Custody War Brewing

Famous “Iron Chef” Cat Cora recently announced in a joint statement that she and wife Jennifer Cora are divorcing after two years of marriage and 17 years of being in a long-term domestic partnership with four children together.

On Monday, it was also reported that the pair could head for a custody battle as was evident from their legal papers that were filed nearly simultaneously by them. She also has launched multiple food restaurant ventures around the world, including the eponymous Cat Cora bar and lounge-style restaurant at San Francisco global Airport’s Terminal 2. The celebrity chef and her wife are headed for divorce.

The two have been married since 2013 and have four sons together – 3 of whom Jennifer gave birth to and 1 who was carried by Cat.

Cora and Jennifer Cora, 44, are parents to four sons, Zoran, 11, Caje, 8, Nash, 6, and Thatcher, 6, all welcomed via in vitro fertilization. A report was published by TMZ which says that the divorce documents state that while Cat Cora has been demanding for joint custody of their children, Jennifer Cora has asked for full custody of their 4 sons.

‘We are forever parents to our boys and are jointly committed to raising them in a peaceful, nurturing and healthy environment’.

Wife Jennifer and Celebrity Chef Cat Cora are separating from each other after being together for 17 years.

‘As a same-sex couple, we had to go back and legally adopt them. Even though Nash was her biological son, Jennifer had to adopt him. After she did, we decided I shouldn’t wait … I carried Nash, but he’s Jennifer’s biological child.

The star added: ‘This will never happen again’.
