Cat Deeley Announces The Birth Of Her First Child

Cat Deeley has welcomed her first child with husband Patrick Kielty.

The “So You Think You Can Dance” host gave birth to a baby boy last week and shared the happy news on Twitter Tuesday. “3 really is the magic number!” she wrote.

On the subject on starting a family, Kielty once joked in the past according to Sky News, “I hope any child we might have has Cat’s looks and my accent”.

The couple have been married for three years, and were friends for over a decade before they finally got together.

Announcing their pregnancy previous year, he tweeted: “Well the cat’s truly out of the bag!” “I’m actually fine. I’m not too bad at all”. She toldGiuliana Rancic at the time, “I managed to squeeze myself into this Monique Lhuillier gown”.

Immediately after the announcement their showbiz pal Declan Donnelly congratulated them, saying: “Congratulations @catdeeley and @PatricKielty on your new arrival”.

She told Closer magazine: “I’ve always followed a relatively healthy diet and never had junk food cravings”.

Commenting on their engagement, Patrick said: “People wait, because they need to get to know each other first”.

The baby is the first child for the couple, who tied the knot in 2012.
