Cavs bring mannequin challenge to White House, first lady
A whole lot more.
On Thursday, the NBA Champions met with President Barack Obama at the White House.
I 100% get that people f***ing hate Trump, because the guy is a douche, and even I ragged on Melania for her Michelle Obama knock-off speech, but using your Trump hate to slut-shame Melania is lame af.
The impromptu celebration capped a ideal trip to the nation’s capital for the Cavs, who added a win to their White House visit by beating the Washington Wizards 105-94 as James had 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Although other National Basketball Association teams have also partaken in the mannequin challenge, it’s impossible to beat the champions when they’ve got the First Lady.
And LeBron James and his 2016 National Basketball Association championship squad made sure to do just that with a big assist from Michelle Obama. Some may hope that her attitude has changed now that Mr. Trump has been elected, seeing her as the right person to heal the divisions highlighted by this election cycle.
James has been honored twice before at the White House after winning the NBA Championship with the Miami Heat. “I was unsure if it was going to make an appearance”.
James, 31 years and 317 days old, needed seven points to reach the milestone going into the Cavaliers game against the Wizards in Washington. This is the best country in the world, so we all have to do our part. Don’t lose a bit of faith!
White House officials said they could continue to make the case against repeal as they walked out the door.
“The comeback was remarkable and you learn a lot about people when they are down”, said Obama.
Coincidentally, before the President was scheduled to honor the Cavs, he was to meet with Trump at the White House regarding the transition of power.
At a White House ceremony attended by Ohio Gov. John Kasich, his two daughters and Sen. Kasich rebuked the president-elect by casting his ballot for Arizona Sen. While many Republican national security leaders shunned Trump, Flynn, a retired lieutenant general, was the Republican nominee’s most experienced national security voice.
Meanwhile, Kasich – an outspoken opponent of Trump – urged unity in the aftermath of Tuesday’s election results.
When it comes to attire for the White House visit, Obama made clear early on that shirts were not optional. “J.R had the Fresh Brewed Tees with the tattoos on it, so originally (LeBron James) had mentioned, ‘Kev why don’t you give him the jersey and Swish you hand him the shirts, ‘” Love said.
Cavaliers: James clutched at his lower right back after getting fouled with 7 1/2 minutes left, but remained in the game. “But I could see other “scheduling conflicts” coming up”.
Ricky Martin can do something very well that you probably can’t do.
