He beat off Stephanie Davis who came a surprising second after shocking viewers as she openly cheated on boyfriend Sam Reece with fellow contestant Jeremy McConnell.

‘We didn’t know that she had had such a bad time with her ex before that. I think beforehand I was in love with the idea of being in love.

She’s also spoken out about the double standards she’s faced by being open about her sexuality – and claimed that the men in the house got away with so much more than the women.

“I think she carried herself well, even the night she lost her temper, a lot of her points were valid”.

The crowd clearly favoured Scotty and he looking shocked but delighted when host Emma Willis announced him as victor.

Scotty T and Gaz have appeared together on Geordie Shore since Scotty T – real name Scott Timlin – joined the MTV show in 2012.

“Another impression I had is that I thought you were quite boring”.
