Celine Dion Is The Undisputed Style Star Of Summer
Celine added that her children have “adapted so well” to the loss of their father, which has helped her as a mother.
Celine Dion belts out a song during her Today Show concert appearance on Friday morning (July 22) at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
As for how her kids are coping with their dad’s death, Dion shared, “My kids are doing great, so I’m doing great – and if I’m doing great, then my kids are doing well”.
Celine Dion has said she is “holding up” after both her husband and brother passed away earlier this year.
While most of the show included lots of wine drinking and Dion breaking out into song, Gifford did shift gears at the start of the program to talk about the musician’s husband and manager, René Angélil, who died of throat cancer at 73 in January.
“I lost the man of my life”, Dion said as Gifford started to cry. And I really feel that to see him suffering for the last three years of my life it was not my husband. She hit the stage to give us a real treat with, “Because You Loved Me”, and instantly she mesmerized everyone. They are helping me go through what millions and millions of people are going through every day. “They know that they have to live with him, but differently”, the 48-year-old singer said in an interview. They sense that mom is OK. They know that dad is not coming back.
