Celtics announce completion of trade with Sixers

So basically, the Sixers are swapping their first round picks this year (No. 1 and No. 3 overall) and the Celtics get either the Sixers pick via the Lakers in 2018 or the Sixers pick via the Kings in 2019.

And that’s if they deal the No. 3 pick, plus the Lakers’ and Kings’ picks.

In his lone collegiate season, Fultz posted 23.2 points, 5.9 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field.

Jackson is an athletic swing forward who most believe eventually will be able to play both forward positions in the National Basketball Association. While there have been inquires on the No. 2 pick, sources said it remains unlikely the Lakers would trade out of that position.

In his first and last season with the Washington Huskies, Fultz proved quickly why he is considered the No. 1 overall prospect in the draft.

“I think even before the lottery, we’ve been evaluating these kids for a couple years, and we felt like it was very close with the top handful of players, and we still feel that way”, Ainge said.
