Charlie Sheen is being sued by his ex-fiancé
The suit also claims Sheen pressured Ross into having an abortion after she discovered she was pregnant, allegedly saying he didn’t want the baby to be HIV-positive.
Scottine Ross, an ex-girlfriend of Charlie Sheen, filed a civil lawsuit Thursday seeking unspecified damages for alleged battery, assault, and negligence, The Wrap reports.
However, Martin Singer, Charlie’s attorney, has said that they intend to defend the lawsuit, and are confident Sheen will prevail.
Rossi also says Sheen had numerous violent outbursts during their relationship – including one where he hurled a cement pillar at her, missing, and breaking a glass door.
The 26-year-old claims the pair then had a “heart to heart” and she chose to stay with Sheen and “engage in unprotected sexual intercourse like a normal couple” because of his treatment to reduce transmission risk.
Ross said what started as a sex-for-hire relationship developed into a romantic relationship and she believed “that they would eventually be getting married”.
The lawsuit alleges that, on several occasions, Sheen locked Ross in the bathroom, pushed her, dragged her by the arms, placed her in a chokehold and pointed an unloaded gun at her, and repeatedly pulled the trigger. Brett states she & Charlie had unprotected sex a minimum offive times before she came upon HIV meds in his drugs cupboard.
Additionally, her suit also claims false imprisonment, sharing how Sheen “intentionally exercised force” to restrain or detain her. It also states that Sheen ended their relationship via text message in October 2014, prompting Rossi to go “into an emotional tailspin and became extremely depressed and ultimately attempted to commit suicide”.
Charlie Sheen is facing a lawsuit from his ex-fiancée, after revealing he is living with HIV.
Sheen’s been accused of hiding his condition from sex partners, thus putting their health in serious peril. She claims Sheen forced her to have an abortion because “he did not want his child to have his blood type (i.e., HIV-Positive)”.
