Also in the star cast is Sudeep, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani. This movie was released in 4000 screens worldwide and Puli will be released in 3000 screens. Deven wonders why fantasy films are rarely made nowadays. In the last few years, Telugu filmdom explored this genre quite well. It can be a grapevine or just an expectation right now as 120 crore is not an easy amount to collect for any film and “Puli” itself is a regional movie. He hopes to make strong mark in Telugu with Puli, but seems like it may not happen this time too owing to poor publicity. In all, Puli has 2,200 scenes with graphics embedded and it is touted to be much more than SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali“, which has about 2,000 graphic scenes.
