Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits doubts over top-four spot
It leaves Chelsea a massive 14 points adrift of Manchester United in the top-four places and Mourinho feels a Champions League spot could be beyond them now.
Substitute Glenn Murray’s 82nd-minute header at Stamford Bridge condemned Chelsea to a 1-0 loss that left them three points above the relegation zone and 14 points adrift of the Champions League places.
Now Mourinho has admitted he may now need to target a top six finish in the Premier League this season.
With no team ever finishing higher than eighth after having just 15 points from the first 15 games of a Premier League season, it’s looking mighty gloomy for Mourinho and his charges.
Kurt Zouma has named Chelsea captain John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic and manager Jose Mourinho as the driving force behind his journey to the first team at the club, per Sky Sports.

Leicester was struggling to avoid relegation last season but now finds itself atop the standings – the exact opposite of Chelsea’s trajectory.
