Chelsea dressing room better under Hiddink, says Mikel
Hiddink stated: “I didn’t want to know a lot from the past but it’s obvious that as Chelsea we have to improve”.
Among those offers is a tantalising proposal from Brazilian team Ibis Sport Club, who now ply their trade in the second division of the Pernambuco regional league.
“It’s fine now, we’ve just not been getting results”.
“We’ve moved on from and the atmosphere has improved since the change of manager”, Mikel affirmed.
Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will not be short of job offers, despite his recent sacking. But sometimes football is a cruel game and you have to move on.
The club outlined the size of the task ahead of Mourinho: “We will not give securities or assurance of continuity in our team, if the team has a sequence of two wins (at best)”.
Mikel Obi has warned Chelsea fans Dutchman Guus Hiddink is not a miracle worker, calling on his Blues teammates to redouble their efforts towards securing a top-four finish.
Although praising the 52-year-old as a fantastic manager and a fantastic guy, Mikel said that the dressing room has been a happier place since he left. “We’ve had three games now without losing so are making the right steps”.
Courtois was optimistic that the revival has already begun.
“It was a good result in the end”, Mikel whomarked his 351st Blues appearance in the game, said on the club’s website.
Do you think Rooney should have been sent off?
“And if you see where our next opponent (Crystal Palace) are in the table, you’ll realize that they are close to the Champions League positions and they have a very good score in their favour as well as good defensively having only conceded 16 goals conceded so far”.
“The players are different – only me and John Terry were here before – but he knows what to do”.
