Chelsea fans celebrate Branislav Ivanovic injury
English Champions Chelsea FC, suffering from their worst start in 37 years, have been dealt with another worrying news during the global break as Branislav Ivanovic was substituted due to an hamstring injury during Serbia’s encounter with Albania.
The Blues duo were in action in the Euro 2016 qualifier in Albania but failed to finish the match in Elbasan, with Ivanovic having to go off after 65 minutes with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
Well sooner or later he will have to be replaced, and here are FIVE IVANOVIC REPLACEMENTS Chelsea should consider!
What a huge difference a summer can make…
Ivanovic was one of the finest full backs in the world last season and regardless of his dip in form, he is an asset to Chelsea.
The former Augsburg man joined Chelsea in a move reportedly worth over €25m but has struggled to for playing time. Chelsea FC have able deputies to choose from, but it would be just a slight reshuffle in defence with Azpilicueta shifting to right-back and Baba Rahman slotting in as left-back.
The Ghana worldwide must now take his chance well when the opportunity arises by impressing Jose Mourinho to ensure he remains in the starting lineup to continue to keep Ivanovic out even after he returns from his latest injury setback.
