Chelsea to cut Falcao loan short?
The Colombia worldwide was widely regarded as one of the most lethal strikers in world football before coming to the Premier League, but has floundered over the last 18 months. The English club has decided, after its poor start this season, to get rid of all the players that are not positively contributing to the club’s performance.
Colombian striker Radamel Falcao could be on the move yet again.
Falcao has scored one goal this season and will be looking to outscore his Premier League self. Falcao was on a season-long loan with Manchester United previous year after stints with Atletico Madrid and Monaco.
O’Rourke noted that Falcao could be open to leaving Chelsea when the transfer window opens in January, but Chelsea and Monaco would need to come to an agreement to terminate the loan.
Following his miserable spell at Manchester United last term, where Louis van Gaal opted not to sign him permanently, Falcao’s form has not recovered.
