Chip Kelly has no plans to change Eagles’ offensive personnel

While there was no official word from the Eagles on the severity of the injury, Murray is listed as limited on the team’s injury report. The Dolphins’ offensive coordinator is Bill Lazor, who was the Eagles’ quarterbacks coach in Kelly’s first season.

DeMarco Murray’s weekly media availability was abruptly canceled Wednesday, an Eagles spokesman saying Murray had left practice early with a hamstring problem and would not be available. That being said, Murray also has a somewhat checkered history when it comes to injuries.

If you’re an Eagles fan, then Sunday’s highlights against the Cowboys was the farthest thing from eye candy. Through two games, one of them against the Eagles, the Falcons are averaging only 2.8 yards per carry.

Murray has received just 21 carries through his first two games with the birds, struggling to just 11 yards.

The good news for Philadelphia is that it has insurance in the event Murray can’t go in Week 3 versus the Jets’ stout defense. As soon as Kelly finds an edge from reading about the game, he adds it to his teams repertoire immediately no matter how big nor small it is.

Rewatch the loss to the Cowboys and you’ll see plenty of examples of Dallas defensive linemen shooting through gaps that you wouldn’t ordinarily expect them to target. “I just asked Josh, ‘do you think they knew our signals?’ and he said no.
