Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and Ark: Survival Evolved near Xbox One release
Activision has announced it will bring Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Torn Banner Studios’ melee-oriented action game, to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month. Activision and Torn Banner Studios are lowering the drawbridge to one of the most fast-paced and intense death-match titles to hit the virtual world for a larger audience. Lay waste to castles and villages as one of four distinct classes.
For example, I was a big fan of the low-gravity servers of Chivalry where the in-game characters could jump 50 feet into the air … of course, they were still programmed to fear heights, so they screamed even as they slowly came back down to the ground.
The digital-only release is now slated to launch on December 1st for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Pre-orders are expected to start on the 25th of November for the Ultimate Edition.
The Xbox One version will include over 25 battlefields and 60 weapons, with support for up to 24-player online multiplayer. The only thing that worries me is the fact that this is a port of a three-year old release. But now the game has a chance to make even more money on the current gen consoles instead of the systems that are on the way out. Inside the Marauding Arbiter Pack there’s new skins and helmets for the Vanguard class. The Inquisitive Dreadnaught Bundle has new skins, weapons, and armor specifically for the Knight class. The Barbarian Weapon Pack “delivers five brutal weapons of war”.
Players can opt to get their hands on the “Chivalry: Medieval Warfare” Ultimate Edition, which will be available with four expansion packs that offer extra DLC and in-game goodies.
