Chris Brown release new single after being arrested
Singer Chris Brown has been bailed out of jail.
Brown came under police scrutiny after a woman placed a call, claiming that the singer had pulled a gun on her, according to TMZ. Now, he’s been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
SINGER Chris Brown has been bailed out of jail following his arrest after a stand-off of almost 14 hours with police.
Brown was “arrested at some point this afternoon”, says LAPD detective Meghan Aguilar.
The woman was not identified and police didn’t elaborate on the assistance she needed. The accuser is a former beauty pageant victor named Baylee Curran, who was a guest at a party in the singer’s home.
Brown later posted rambling messages on social media proclaiming his innocence and rebuffing reports that he barricaded himself in his “palace”. “Black lives matter (expletive)”.
Brown later shared a video of singer Ray J supporting him on Instagram and posted: “Real friends!”
The “Loyal” hitmaker was detained by officers earlier this week after beauty queen Baylee Curran claimed he pointed a gun at her during an argument at his home. Curran hasn’t responded to requests for comment from the Associated Press.
The unwelcome guest ran out of the home and immediately called police. “Call the police”, she said. The spokesman added that there had been half a dozen people in the residence, and that everyone had been cooperative in the investigation.
Singer Chris Brown has been arrested on felony assault charges.
Brown, 27, denied any wrongdoing in posts on Instagram before he was taken into custody and said he had woken up to find police outside the property in the Tarzana neighbourhood in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley.
A law enforcement source told the newspaper that authorities recovered a duffel bag that had been tossed from a window but did not say what they found in it. A search warrant was served and everyone in Brown’s home was brought outside as the police did a protective sweep of the home.
