Chris Brown releases post-arrest song
Chris appeared to be attempting to distract from the legal drama surrounding his arrest on Tuesday (30Aug16) following a lengthy stand-off with police, who had surrounded his Tarzana, California home following allegations he threatened model Baylee Curran with a gun.
United States singer Chris Brown put out for free a dance track entitled “What Would You Do?”.
Curran said that she had partied previously with Brown and that he grew angry after she admired a piece of jewelry. He revealed that Brown “cooperated fully” with police after he was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon, and he also reemphasized that he believes Curran’s account of what happened on Tuesday morning is not true.
The LAPD has seized security camera footage from Brown’s home and are reportedly still in the process of examining the video.
Curran told authorities that she feared for her life, however, Brown has said he’s the victim (because of course he said that) and has proclaimed his innocence via Instagram tirade.
The woman who just a few days ago accused Chris Brown of pointing a gun at her face, allegedly sent a text message to someone about setting the singer up after threw her out of his house.
In a new video posted to Instagram Wednesday night, Brown responded to the incident and accusations saying, “Yo, you know all this bullshit, everything that’s been going on man, I’m just going to turn the other cheek, drop some music”. A court date is scheduled for September 20th.
