Chris Christie Criticizes Obama and Rand Paul After Terror Attack In Paris
Bush appointed Christie as the US attorney for the District of New Jersey in 2002, a position he used to prosecute public corruption cases. “The president of the United States is justifying that”. A video of Christie repeating anecdotes emphasizing treatment over jail time went viral almost two weeks ago, but it’s still grabbing the attention of new supporters.
Chris Christie has made a habit of talking about drug addiction on the presidential campaign trail.
“You’ve seen me have these arguments onstage – in a debate with Sen”.
“See, I’m a prosecutor, and I know what we need to do to keep this country safe”.
He also talked about how he believes that teachers should only receive merit-based pay raises and his plans to change the nation’s tax policy.
“We have a president who is destroying our defense capability”, he said, adding later that President Obama “treats the prime minister of Israel with less respect than he gives the ayatollah of Iran”. “Donald’s a generous guy and a nice guy, and what you see on TV, by the way, is exactly what you get”, Christie said.
“How can she say that what they’ve done the last seven years has been successful”. “And I’ve said all along everybody who runs for president, you’re responsible for the words that come out of your mouth”.
“We’ve always had a strategy that if we develop a good organization here, which we have, that we are going to compete here”, Mr. Christie told The Washington Times after a town-hall-style meeting at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Sixty-one percent of voters, including 40 percent of Republicans, say he should drop out of the race, according to a November 10 Quinnipiac University poll.
Christie has said he had “no knowledge or involvement in the planning or execution of this act”. “So I think the party leadership will be cautious about going against their own governor if he’s still on the ballot”.
Christie, who opened his Iowa state campaign headquarters Friday, said fund-raising was going well.
