Chris Courtney ESPN’s College GameDay descends upon Tuscon, Corso picks Arizona
The Wildcats have yet to face a team from a Power Five conference, but still rank No. 92 in the country in pass yards allowed.
UCLA heads down to Glendale Arizona to take on the Arizona Wildcats in a battle between unbeaten PAC-12 foes.
The UCLA Bruins are coming from a 24-23 win over BYU in Week 3. The pick: UCLA 35, Arizona 31.
572 Total yards (487 passing, 85 rushing) for Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield in Saturday’s game against Tulsa, a Sooner single-game record.
ESPN reports that in the past two games Rosen has completed just 3 of 17 passes that have traveled at least 15 yards downfield.
Receiver David Richards has 14 catches for 203 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright will play Saturday night against No. 9 UCLA, Wildcats coach Rich Rodriguez confirmed. Wright has missed the last two games after hurting his knee in the opener.
His return comes at a great time for the Wildcats as they open up Pac-12 play against a chief rival for the South Division title and as their depth at middle linebacker has hit a season low.
UCLA freshman quarterback Josh Rosen has proven his worth in his first three appearances for the Bruins. Jeff Lockie, Marcus Mariota’s backup last season, made his first start and threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns. The running game for UCLA has been supreme, with Paul Perkins running for 429 yards, including 3 touchdowns. Those poor North Korean players didn’t choose to be born into a totalitarian dictatorship, but the players for Arizona State chose to go to ASU.

Both teams will have their hands full on the defensive side of the ball in stopping the opposing running backs and whoever can stop the run may have the advantage in this game. UCLA has a freshman under center in a hostile Arizona environment. Really, because Scooby broke out so quickly (he’s a true junior this year), we only had one year with him before he became a national force.
This has the making of a shootout so we are leaning betting the over 65 in this one. Missing field goals and costing the team a win, will not be acceptable for Arizona fans so avoiding the situation similar from the USC game last season. You can also listen to the game live via TuneIn.
