Chris Evans’ romantic solo vacation
Arriving in theaters shortly after the release of Playing It Cool, Before We Go confirms that Chris Evans, aka Marvel’s patriotic do-gooder Captain America, is cut out not only for amenable superheroism, but for romantic-comedy stardom as well.
While, new information has come to light about the next Captain America film Civil War and how there was tensions rising due to a ballooning budget. The actor-turned-director hopes he’ll get to step behind the camera again. What an asshole I would be if I hadn’t done this.
“Marvel just can’t stop making great movies, they do it in their sleep”.
“Versus enjoying this brooding man as a result of he by no means shaped that bond, you could have the broken man as a result of he is aware of what he might have”. “Kicking myself-I’d never forgive myself!”
As reported earlier this week, the Disney-owned Marvel Entertainment has gone through a restructuring, with the film division and its president, Kevin Feige, reporting directly to Disney film chairman Alan Horn instead of longtime Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter, who still oversees the TV and publishing operations. With the change of authority at Marvel Studios, a very lucrative deal could be arranged for the actor.
Evans said his current contract locks him in with the studio up through Marvel’s The Avengers: Infinity War, Part 1 and Part 2. Interestingly enough, the 34-year-old “Avengers” star says that taking on the role of Captain America likely saved his career. Looking to do something different from time to time than his shield throwing superhero character Captain America.
Civil War looks to be shaping up as the most interesting Marvel Cinematic Universe entry to date. And as we previously prognosticated, hopefully this means we’ll get more female superheroes coming soon as well, something Perlmutter was also consistently putting the kibosh on.
Are you happy to have Chris Evans stick around as Captain America?
