Chris Hemsworth’s daughter hates his Thor costume

Actor Chris Hemsworth had to survive on just 500 calories a day to portray a shipwrecked sailor in director Ron Howard’s new disaster movie In the Heart of the Sea.

So it was obviously a treat when Luke, Chris and Liam all attended the premiere of Vacation in Los Angeles on Monday. The 39-year-old, who looked stunning in a frilly pink lace dress, has three children with Chris – daughter India Rose and twin sons, Tristan and Sasha.

The writers and co-producers behind adventure comedy “Vacation“, John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, have revealed one scene required the hunk to walk around wearing tight underwear stuffed with the fake member, which was preceded by a unusual meeting where he tried several on for size.

A couple hours later the family of five was spotted exiting the terminal at LAX with Chris juggling two kids, and Elsa carrying the other.

But they eventually agreed the biggest possible representation of his manhood was flawless for the scene.

The actor joked about the day he got to pick out his prosthetic, saying, “It’s part of character development”.

Chris apparently modelled a couple of options before deciding to go bold and choosing the biggest! He knew exactly the tone we were going for and he embodied that role so well it was fantastic to watch. “Maybe I’m going to have to raise my Spanish level”.
