Christian Benteke leaves Liverpool for record sum
“Crystal Palace have signed Belgium global striker Christian Benteke from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee on a four year contract”, a statement read on Palace’s official site.
He becomes manager Alan Pardew’s fourth signings, following Andros Townsend, James Tomkins and Steve Mandanda to the club this summer. “It was never easy, so from that I know that we have some good players”.
Just imagine if Klopp the faintest clue how to get the best out of Benteke; it’s entirely possible that Liverpool might’ve finished higher than the utter mediocrity of 8th in the league.

Benteke joined Liverpool from Aston Villa ahead of the 2015-16 campaign, but failed to live up to the high expectations at Anfield.
