What’s next: McCaffery will play in the Rose Bowl, then return to Stanford for his junior season.
Close Heisman voting has been uncommon in recent years.
So while it is not surprising to see the Broncos rally behind the Stanford running back, it is still cool to see McCaffrey get the support of a professional organization heading into the Heisman Trophy ceremony this weekend in New York City. Regardless, this shouldn’t hamper how the Heisman voters look at his candidacy.
