Christie road repairs at center of lawsuit
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie told supporters at his campaign headquarters in Johnston Friday morning he would use his “strong” debate performance from Thursday night to his advantage in the final days leading up to the Iowa caucuses. “They do not want us to exercise religious liberty”, Christie stated. “And so, this corps group of people who are here this morning, you are the ones who are going to help us finish up the job of persuasion here in Iowa”, Christie says.
“Governor Christie, you said that she must follow the law or be moved to another job that would be in keeping with her conscience”, Wallace said.

“Someone in that office has to do their job”, Christie said. He made the comments last September stating, “we should move her to another job inside the government”.
He went to say the core problem is that President Obama and Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton have turned their backs on law enforcement.
Christie changed the subject to the threat of radical terrorism by stating that radical jihadis want to restrict the religious liberty of people throughout the world and they want to force the world to believe their own radical interpretation of Islam.
Christie added at the time, “First off, we’ve got to be protecting religious liberty in this country, and the Constitution has to be protected”. “That’s why as commander in chief, I will take on ISIS, not only because it keeps us safe, but because it allows us to absolutely conduct our religious affairs the way we find in our heart and in our souls”. “The fact is that what I did do from the beginning as soon as I found out about it, I fired the people who were responsible and that’s what you expect from a leader”.
