Christie’s Endorsement of Trump Comes Under Fire by His Former Aide
Marco Rubio is ramping up attacks against Donald Trump, his rival for the Republican presidential nomination, insulting his supposedly “small hands” and “spray tan”.
The new polls, a second source said, showed Trump’s support, even without Bloomberg in the race, was “surprisingly strong” in Westchester and on Long Island, the key suburbs often viewed as crucial swing bellwethers on how statewide elections will turn out.
Saturday, Clinton received about 75 percent of the votes in the SC primary election.
Cruz, who is in Arkansas campaigning in central and Northwest Arkansas this weekend, says he’s a “proven conservative” whose policies will best contrast with Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton in the fall.
Clinton is favored in most of the states voting Tuesday, but the Sanders campaign said it has a good shot at winning five of the states, especially ones outside of the southern states where black voters favoring Clinton comprise a large part of the Democratic electorate.
The NBC/WSJ/Marist poll of Texas was conducted February 18-23 of 537 likely GOP primary voters (plus-minus 4.2 percentage points) and 381 likely Democratic primary voters (plus-minus 5.0 percentage points).

Prompting cheers and laughter, Rubio said: “Donald is not going to make America great”.
By the time the Sunshine State holds its GOP primary March 15, Trump still won’t have the 1,237 delegates needed to lock up the nomination.
Public opinion studies show Trump has more support than other candidates in numerous so-called “Super Tuesday” states. “And he is going to bring this race to Hillary Clinton”.
“Of all the candidates, Rubio seems to have the firmest grasp on national security and all the other domestic issues that are facing us”, Fairfax resident Mark Spivey said.
In the four attributes voters were asked about, Clinton wins the commander-in-chief test (73 percent) and Democrats believe she’d be more effective at solving the country’s problems (63 percent).
Christie said he plans to help Trump with “whatever he needs” throughout the rest of the campaign. And 66 percent of the 865 delegates up for grabs on Super Tuesday come from these six states.
Trump also garnered backlash Sunday for recently retweeting a quote from Benito Mussolini, the 20th century fascist dictator of Italy, which reads: “It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep”.
