Christie vows to continue beyond New Hampshire
Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, who had already labeled Bush a “low energy” candidate, slapped him with mock sleep-aid commercial posted to Instagram.
Likewise, asked to comment on Trump’s qualifications as a conservative, Rubio said that the billionaire is “running as someone who’s a populist who’s upset about the direction of this country, as am I, as are millions of Americans”.
Senior campaign officials for Bush have been seeking to reassure donors that the one-time front-runner has a path forward after his dismal Iowa showing, three Bush donors told Reuters.
Rubio is framing himself as a candidate uniquely qualified to both unite Republican voters, and reach out to lower-income and minority communities that have delivered reliably Democratic votes in recent decades.
At a campaign event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire Thursday, Rubio is telling would-be Paul voters that he shares the Kentucky senator’s views on how to prosecute drug crimes and address problems in the criminal justice system. A foreign policy hawk, Rubio advocates a tough approach to Iran, the Islamic State militant group and other U.S. foes.

Opinion polls of Republicans show Trump leading nationally and in New Hampshire. “Who is Jeb Bush’s father?” and “Is Jeb Bush George Bush’s brother?”
Rival Chris Christie mocked Rubio on Tuesday as “the boy in the bubble” managed by his “handlers”.
“I’m from the Midwest and was part of one of the worst VA systems ever seen”, Fleming told Rubio.
