Christina Aguilera to Gwen Stefani: ‘Get that cowboy,’ Blake Shelton

Many fans of Christina Aguilera are excited over the news that she could be returning to the next season of “The Voice” to sit on the chair to be vacated by Gwen Stefani.

Singer Blake Shelton remembered his brother, Richie, in a touching message on twitter, on his death anniversary.

“Wow… 25 years ago today we lost my brother Richie Shelton”, he wrote. The country singer posted a tweet saying Richie is still his hero.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton announced their divorce in mid-July according to Fox News. The “Sangria” singer told the audience that the song was written for his late brother during their acceptance speech. “I’m like ‘you wish!’ and he was like, ‘I know, right?!’ And then there’s all of a sudden, maybe a few truth there”.

Aguilera explained she feels both Shelton and Stefani deserve significant others who respect and appreciate them. The show she’s talking about, of course, is The Voice, where the brand-new couple first met – and where Aguilera was once a coach.

Meanwhile, Christina recently admitted she is glad the pair have found each other as she knows how painful divorces can be from personal experience. That was about a week before Gwen’s rep officially confirmed they are indeed dating! Stefani filed for divorce from fellow musician Gavin Rossdale in August. Lambert won the 2012 CMA Award for Song of the Year for it.
