‘Clarify, Do You Support Anti-India Slogans?’ Amit Shah Questions Rahul Gandhi
When asked about the same the MLA replied: “Yes, I said it. If he goes and supports such anti-national people…he should be shot”.
BJP President Amit Shah asked Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi to clarify his stand on the issue of “anti-national” slogans and whether it should be tolerated in the name of freedom of speech.
Rahul has come out in support of JNU students, who are protesting the arrest of JNU students union leader Kanhaiya Kumar on sedition charge, and has accused the RSS and BJP of imposing their ideology. “And if he condemns them, he should have the courage to say it and not stoop so low for vote-bank politics”.
He alleged that the Central government wants to shut the prestigious Institution like JNU as the students pursuing their studies in the campus had raised their voices against the Dadri lynching incident, suicide case of dalit scholar in Hyderabad University and other issues.
In Delhi, BJP parliamentarian Anurag Thakur repeatedly referred to Rahul Gandhi as he attacked the opposition during a debate in Parliament on the JNU controversy. If Rahul Gandhi, Congress’ Rajkumar’s sides with these people, it is treason.
Party leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Jyotiraditya Scindia and KC Venugopal have given the notice for the motion.
“JNU has the name of Jawaharlal Nehru”. The country gave many opportunities to your family.
