Classic Xbox Games That Deserve to Be on the Xbox One
Microsoft is no longer reporting Xbox One sales numbers, however, meaning we’re left to guess and determine the figures in alternative ways like this.
The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 could be heading for a significant price drop, with next generation chips bringing the cost of production down.
According to GameSpot, a reporter on ZDnet has heard from sources that the latest stats for Windows 10 show that 18 million Xbox One consoles are “active”. Perhaps a more gentler platformer could be found in the lovingly crafted Unravel (PS4, Xbox One, PC), which is a surprising release from EA and will be available for download on PC and current-gen consoles just next month.
A father from Pembroke, Canada is paying the price for not staying up to day with his son’s gaming habits by having to pay around $8000 for purchases made on his family’s Xbox One console by his 17 year old son. This new party feature would hold with that as many gamers have asked for this functionality since the New Xbox One Experience launched in November. Microsoft also faced a backlash from its original “always on” position, privacy concerns, and some, frankly, very bad responses to press questions. Meanwhile, the PS4 launched in 32 countries, half of which were European. Given how “connected” the new consoles are, it’s safe to assume that most Xbox Ones that have been sold to consumers are online.
At a 2015 Geekwire Summit panel interview in October, Xbox head Phil Spencer admitted the huge lead of the PS4 over the Xbox One and was uncertain as to when they can overcome the lead.
The figure includes the 5.7 million consoles the company sold in the recent Christmas season. Microsoft on the other hand is going to deliver among others Halo Wars 2, Gears of War 4, ReCore, Fable Legends Open Beta, and Quantum Break. GOW 4 is expected to be a huge hit and this is one major franchise of the Xbox brand that can compete with Sony and Naughty Dog‘s “Uncharted” series.
